Corrections & notices

Some of what Tezofyn publishes is its own: which companies have disclosed operations in a region, and how a published headline was classified. Those rows are ours, not a third party's, so being told one is wrong is something we owe an answer to — in writing, on a clock, in public.

What happens when you report something

• Within 24 hours the report is acknowledged. If you gave a reply address, you hear from a person.
• Within 7 days the row is either corrected — with the new source named — or the source it rests on is quoted back to you.
• A row under review is marked “Disputed by <company> on <date> — under review” and stays visible. Hiding it would hide the dispute with it, and the reader who saw the claim is owed the correction in the same place.
• First-party rows are removed only on a court order, and the order is recorded here. A private demand gets an answer, not a deletion.

What a row has to carry before it is published at all

• Disclosed by the company — the company's own filing, linked, dated, with the sentence quoted verbatim. The database refuses a row claiming this without all three.
• Public record — a register or an exchange record, named and dated.
• Curated — Tezofyn research — recorded by hand from a named public source, and labelled as ours.
• Inferred — derived by Tezofyn and not stated by the company. These are hidden by default and are never included in any count.

Nothing on those surfaces scores, ranks or rates a company. A list of disclosures is ordered by market capitalisation and by nothing else.
